Jason, Sorry for doing you out of your coffee change because Mike’s direct email was the first one that hit my inbox so I bought WWN direct from Mike. But don’t feel left out because I passed by on Ferny’s, Brian Fanale’s, Ann Seig’s, Mike Hobb’s and a few others that I did out of coffee change.

But man you find out when you buy it why Mike is the Master Marketer. He didn’t have just one “Buy it Now” button but I think I counted at least six buttons with different offers with which he hooked me on a couple but I ended up with buyers remorse before I bought his ultimate offer of his whole brain which I believe is the offer of the century.

It’s weird,

Sometimes the best sales letter is a buy button…

And I’m a huge fan of sales letters… but when I want to buy… I want a button.

It’s bizarre.

I mean, I’m grateful when somebody introduces me to a product. If I don’t buy it right away then I will actually go back and look for their affiliate link later.

But, oh well…

Hey Jason,
Thank you for the article. It reminded me of the costly lesson I had about 7 years ago when I was selling jewelry online.
I just dumped a bunch of money into the site. And I was all excited about getting it out there and makin’ sales.
Loaded up my ppc with $3500 and grand visions of success galore
I checked my stats and seen I was getting traffic and the ppc was burning up the money
And for brief moment I couldn’t wait to check my merchant account.
Then had one of those moments that feels like your get smacked up side the head with a 2 x 4.

I forgot to take the site out of test mode.
and $3500 went puff out into virtual never never land

So know, I am a freak at making sure everything works

My favorite part of this post is “If you would rather “rip me off” and pay the same price anyway (because you hate me or something) then you can buy What’s Working Now by clicking here too.”

I never understood why people will refuse to pay an affiliate and go out to google something they heard about from an affiliate so they can purchase it from the main domain.

What’s even stranger is most people who do this ARE affiliate marketers! Crazy.

I am feeling this post,
Just met with some alleged “Gu – Ras” (my new word) and the first thing they asked was how I planned on converting people to my business X. All I have is an opt-in and they kinda laughed at me. I was a little upset till I realized one was Mexican and probably wasn’t here legally anyway.

Anyway, I have visited sites that I was the same mindset of I will BUY whatever they have, but the opportunity was never presented.

I always think what Dumb Arses (Wait, I’m one of them)

Hey Tracey,

Just checked out your site and all I could see was the form
on your contact page. Bad idea.

And here’s why…

Forms actually scare people away. Your best bet is to make your
contact info as available as possible. Nix the form unless you have a
very specific use for it… or unless you’re just using it for feedback from readers.

In a sense, you have to ask yourself,
“Would I run this as an ad in the local newspaper?”

Would I expect to get replies?

So needs some text… some nudging… maybe even a call
to act, or pick up the phone.
