A Revealing Interview With Jason Better By Mitchell Dillman…

Mitchell Sent Me An E-mail:

“Now, I’ve made it part of my daily routine to tune-in, read up, and post comments on your blog and it seems only natural that I’d really like to know a bit more about old Jason Better. Take a look at the
following 10 questions and humor me my friend…”

Sure, I thought, “why not?”

So, this is the transcript of an exclusive interview I granted to Mitchell Dillman fromwww.DillmanSolutions.com – what a guy

The Inside Scoop On Jason The “Better Networker”:

1. “Who is Jason Better (so to speak)?”

Why, I’m the guy who runs the show at BetterNetworker.com so to speak. My passion is helping Network Marketers with their online (and offline) marketing. That’s what drives me every single day. And that’s why I wake up with a smile on my face – every day :-D

2. “What makes Jason Better tick?”

Well, I sorta answered that already.

But you know, I’m one of those rare individuals who actually gets a “kick” out of helping people. That’s what makes Jason Better “tick”.

3. “Why did Jason Better chose to get started in marketing and when?”

Well, like everybody else I’ve had my failures.

Believe it or not, I was once miserably broke, had furniture made of milk-crates, and my biggest “dream” was to own a bed to sleep on. Never mind “six figure success”.

I guess you could say, I got started out of desperation.

4. “Where do you operate from Jason? (Do you have an office in Austin where you punch in and meet with all the others that run The Better Networker or do you work from home and meet with the others Online?)”

Yes, I have an office in Austin Texas too, but I prefer to work from my cozy home office most of the time – fewer distractions.

In fact, I’m flying to Austin next month to iron out the future of Better Networker as we know it. My good friend (and trusted advisor) Mike Dillard is going to help us make Better Networker a better place for all of us.

5. “What’s a typical day look like for Jason Better? What kind of hours do you put in?”

Gosh, I work crazy hours and I won’t deny it. You can find me answering comments at midnight or 5:45 in the morning. Sleep is overrated.

Basically, I wake up early usually before 6:00 a.m. and start my day. I make the rounds atBetterNetworker.com to make sure nothing is amiss. I have a chat with Carl the Cop. Carl’s always a little grumpy but he’s a great guy.

After that, I write for as many hours as I can get away with.

If I get three solid hours of writing done in a morning – it’s a miracle.

The rest of my day is spent putting out fires, tackling emergencies, and writing between phone calls, meetings, and other time management nightmares.

By the way, time management is probably the most overlooked (and most important) skill in business – if you don’t master that then you don’t stand a chance. :-(

6. “Is your role a Better Networker all you’re doing?”

Better Networker is 100% my top priority. But lately, I’ve been helping Mike Dillard with “What’s Working Now”. I’m thrilled to be a part of that too.

7. “How long has Jason Better been in Network Marketing?”

Oh boy, if you add up all the years then I would have to tell you how old I was. I prefer to keep you guessing. Besides, you wouldn’t believe me if I told you.

I mean, how long has Yoda been training Jedi Knights?

8. “Jason, where do you see yourself in a year? In 5 years? In 20?”

In a year? Why, I hope to still be here at Better Networker.

In five years, Better Networker will not only be the most valuable community for home business owners (it already is) but also a household word.

In twenty years? I’ll probably be passing on the Better mantle to some young whippersnapper with even better ideas than I have.

9. “If you were to spill the beans, what would you say is the single most important skill for any new Network or Internet Marketer to learn and what would your focus be on if you were just coming into this business?”

I try not to spill my beans…

But, if I had to give you one secret (the real secret of success) I would be tempted to say, “ACTION”. Because wishful thinking won’t get you anywhere in life. If you really want success then you have to make mistakes, move forward, and do something.

If you REALLY want success – you have to TAKE IT.
