Wolf Boy Discovers The Astonishing Secrets Of E-mail Marketing…
SO, I’ve jumped back in for a day to crush any rumors about me being abducted by wolves, aliens, or ewoks. (Although, I do have a little more stubble than I usually do!)
The truth is, I’ve been writing e-mails, specifically autoresponders, that will help new Better Networkers get the hang of things when they join our community.
So I’ve been writing about a gazillion e-mails a day.
With that said, I will be back on Monday to share some of the astonishing e-mail writing (and e-mail marketing) secrets I’ve learned over the years.
But, it may be another week until I can get back to writing a blog post every single day. (Gosh, and you guys thought I had gremlins do all my writing for me!)
In the mean time, feel free to leave your questions about e-mail marketing in a comment below and please let the other Better Networkers know that I’m still alive and haven’t been abducted by wolves by “tweeting” this announcement…
-Thank you

Hey Jason,
I’m looking forward to this email marketing that you’ll be providing. I know you are a master at it. So there is no other person to learn from. You need to stay away from those caves!
Have a great weekend…

Hey Dayid,
Mike definitely rocks it with copy.
Sometimes my style is too relaxed and I was suprised by you mentioning my e-mail subject lines. That’s one thing I need to pay more attention to.
Those things are sooo important, but sometimes under time pressure I let one out that isn’t what it could be.

Hey J!
Hmmmm Wolf Boy…
Wondering if he was hanging out with someone I wrote about this week.
Great to see that you are in one piece (those wolves and gremlins can be trouble).
Looking forward to what you have in store.
Enjoy the weekend!

Hey Jason,
For a second there, I thought the gremlins were on strike.
Looking forward to getting your training on email marketing.
Could you possibly include some tips to do with copy and NLP. I don’t know about you, but anything that can really stir up the emotions gets me reading, so any content along those lines would be awesome.
Appreciate all the great content and look forward to loads more.

NLP fascinates me too.
As for NLP Copywriting stuff. My personal belief is that it’s the icing on the cake… not the cake itself.
But studying those techniques will help you with every part of your life. The problem is, there’s so much junk out there.

Hey Elmar,
Yeah, I finally got sucker-punched with e-mails.
Over-committed.
But it’s all for the Better Networkers. I’m all for anything that helps them get more out of the BN experience.

Hi Jason,
Nice to hear back from you and I’m glad you’re okay.
I’m really looking forward to your tips about e-mail marketing as I’m pretty much lost in that subject.
One question: How many follow up e-mails should you write … some say go on forever.
Have an awesome weekend!

Write as many as you can!
Haha…
Gosh, some people say “No autoresponders”.
Other people swear by them.
I know a lot of marketers these days are only doing broadcasts. That’s okay, if you have the time to do write them every day.
But I think the main thing is: keeping giving value and stay in touch as often as you can.

Glad you’re okay, Jason. I was starting to worry.
It certainly says a lot about your high level of integrity and consistency when lots of people start to EXPECT to hear from you every day…
Anything you want to provide in the world of email marketing will be spectacular I’m sure. I’m ready to soak it all up.
Have fun!

Usually regular like clockwork but some readers have noticed that the last two weeks my e-mails have gone out at bizarre times.
Bit off more that I could chew. So, had to cut back temporarily…

Thanks for keeping us posted.
Here’s a question for you: “How to create a call to action with the use of email marketing?”
I think everyone would appreciate to hear more about this and with the variety of approaches, it would be great to hear your point of view on this.
Have a great weekend,

Whew Jason,
I thought someone locked you in the phone booth.
Glad to see you made it out. Those emails must have a hint of Kryptonite in them… keeping you from coming to our marketing rescue.
Email question… Should you keep links down to one, or what’s the max number of links to include in an email?
Thanks for consistently giving us top notch marketing tips! Looking forward to what you have up your sleeve for next week!
Enjoy your weekend!

Susanna,
You are right on.
Those e-mails are worse that kryptonite for sucking energy. But only because I’m trying to make them shine and be valuable for years to come.
I try to stay out of phone booths. But lately, they look like good places to sleep. haha.

I did not receive anything. My Blackberry had a meltdown and I lost everything except my address book.
And my email has been giving me problems, had to erase many due to an annoying yournight email that has been flooding my facebook.
Now you have me on the edge of my seat.

Hey J,
I guess even the gremlins need a break every once and a while. I would like to see some info on crafting the best method to go about crafting ar messages. I have been studying a ton of people in the industry and the universal template seems to be: Story, Problem, Solution. I think keeping a simple structure like this can help a lot of people get over the hump. It did for me anyway.
Thanks,
