Honest Opinions About What’s Working Now

Hey, I was wondering if you would do me a small favor…

If you’re like most of the readers of the Jason Better Blog then you’re also a member of “What’s Working Now”.

And I would like your honest to goodness opinion about it…

Which part of the product did you like (or not like) most?

Personally, I’m a huge fan of the webinar Daegan Smith did. If I remember correctly, it was two hours long. And there’s two more coming where that came from.

But, did you find it as useful as I did?

More importantly…

Did you act on it right away?

Have you used any of the simple ideas in What’s Working Now to change your business? Or do you have plans to do so in the near future?

Moreover…

How do you think the product could be improved?

And did you think that the $10 dollar monthly price point was too low?

The reason I ask, is that I’ve never seen anybody give something this valuable away for $10 bucks.

Honestly, I’m a bit worried that some people saw the price and thought:

“There’s no way this really works.”

Obviously they would be wrong.

Because this IS What’s Working Now.

Now, if people watch Daegan Smith’s webinar (and nothing else in the next year) I firmly believe they will have enough “know how” to recruit more people and make more money online than any sane person would ever need.

The problem as I see it is taking action.

But what’s your honest opinion about What’s Working Now?

I really want to know, because a little birdie told me that the annual membership will be open sometime today, or possibly tomorrow.

(UPDATE: Another “little birdie” told me I was dead wrong. Sorry about that. I get so excited about things. But, I will definitely keep you updated.)

This will be the last chance for anybody to take advantage of this special offer so I will post the link here as soon as I hear more…

You can click here to see if What’s Working Now is available

But if you’re already a member please leave your thoughts below.

Thank you,

P.S. Again, all links in this post are blatant affiliate links. Yes, I do make some money if people buy through those links. But I feel strongly enough about WWN that I think you should subscribe no matter where you buy it. And obviously, it’s the same price everywhere when it’s available.

Hey Jason,

I think more individuals jumped on because they know the names that are part of WWN for only $10. Of course, the information is powerful. I’m in the works of implementing some of it right now.

That is great that it is opening up again!

Chat with you later..

I know!

I’m super-psyched about that.

It’s hard to believe that I would be amazed by anything but when I first watched that webinar with Daegan Smith I stood there in stunned silence.

My thoughts…

“Why are you giving this away?”

He let the secrets out… now I’ll have to rely on my good looks and charm to get by. :-)

I haven’t had the time to watch but today it is on the agenda for some brain tutor-ang…
Sometime what working now means that ya gotta put time in to find out.. and today is my day to do so.
I think $10 was rather inexpensive but a great way to introduce people to useful information and that is sometimes priceless.

It WAS an irresistable offer that was put on the table. Who could pass that up for $10?

I’ve been a student of Daegan for a long time and know he knows his stuff, as well as, if not better than anyone in the industry.

Honestly, I think there was too much given away for $10. Perhaps break the webinar into two parts, the second part coming next month or something.

I know my computer is littered with $7 or $17 dollar ebooks that I have yet to crack open.

Value is definitely associated with price.

In terms of implementation, well, I have a personal interest on that one, as my blog was “critiqued” in that issue.

Some golden nuggets were part of the critique, and I’ve implemented some of them already in the form of a couple tests on my site.

The whole idea of “proof” on my blog I had never thought of. Duhhh!!!! I have quite a bit of it on my sales page, but never thought of including it on my blog. Easy fix there, I like it.

Haha,

A biased recommendation!

But I have to agree with you about that Daegan Webinar.

Way to valuable to give away at that price.

It wouldn’t be more valuable if the memory stick was made of solid gold.

Hey Jason,

Mine hasn’t arrived yet. But haven’t checked the mail today.

I was late to move on it. But I am really psyched about what I have been hearing from my friends.

Leave it to Mike to come up with an idea to get so many great names in the industry involved in a product that initially sells for 10 bucks.

And with you studying the copywriting aspect you’re all set.

I would say your copywriting skills with that first webinar by Daegan
might be all you need to really kick things up a notch.

I mean, when it comes down to it…

You need to drive traffic and convert it.

People make things too complicated.

I hope that any late bloomers jump in on the deal when it opens again.

Although I believe only the annual option is opening up.

Hi Jason,

$10 is a steal for the information…again, it proves that this business is not always about making money…it’s about making a difference.

Just look at the million dollar information you give away to the “Better Bunch” on a daily basis…

Thanks and have a great day everybody.

Anne

It’s funny Anne…

The other day I bought a report for $17 dollars.

The funny part being that I already had it free.

The guy just decided to sell it… but now… all of the sudden I want to reread it again.

I believe that it’s all about making a difference.

But sometimes I think a higher price point is really a service to the customer.

Daegan’s two hour PPC training was insane.

Getting inside the minds of successful people who are out there on the cutting edge is invaluable.

The good thing about WWN (for me) is that there will be a continuos flow of different content from different leaders. This not only keeps my ADD in check ; ) but also allows people to dive into niche marketing areas that they are attracted to and most comfortable.

[Reply]

Jason Reply:

Was it ever.

Not to mention your contributions to the whole deal too.

Hey Jason,

Absolutely loved the premier issue of WWN. The Daegan Smith webinar was my favorite as well. I went out and grabbed PPC Domination right after watching it, and I’m setting up my campaigns right now!

Also loved your Marketing Critique section. Melisa and I were able to incorporate some of your advice, as we were just launching our nerve center at the time.

Ty Tribble was also great regarding Twitter traffic.

Oh, I could go on and on. It was all great and I am putting into action. Great value!

I think my favorite part was you critiquing Kurt’s blog. I found it very helpful. I haven’t watched Daegan’s webinars yet as I am not ready for PPC. But I will when I’m there.

But I have to say I got a little bit confused when you talked about Ray and Ferny’s silo strategy. For some reason I keep thinking it contradicts what they said in TF 2.0. But I haven’t had a chance to reread it.

I had to go for the annual subscription. To me it was a no brainner!

[Reply]

Good day Tracey,

Actually, I learned the silo strategy from watching what Ferny was doing with his own site.

But Google his blog/site and you’ll see how he does it too. :-)

Sometimes it’s easier to learn by seeing it in action.

Hi Jason
excellent name WWN, exciting that is actually now (we humans like that stuff) LOVE that ‘giving back’ by leaders – very nice of them.
Price Point – gets to as many people as possible, the RIGHT info and most certainly will help out the network community – $$ don’t mean much when value involved – excellent and well executed promo and valuable content.

I think my favorite part still is Daegan’s webinar. The complete honestly and transparent presentation was inspiring. The content is so overwhelming that I am reading it all for the 3rd time take make sure I get it all.

The price point was unbelievable! At $10 bucks anyone could get a look at this product and decide for themselves if the value was there. And obviously it is.

Thanks,

Hi Jason!

I’ve missed posting here… got a bit too busy but glad to have found you again…

What I loved about WWN was the delivery of the first issue on the personalized USB stick… that was very impressive and very thoughtful considering the $9.95 intro deal!

My favorite part of what I received was Mike Dillard’s Personal Video sharing his personal views on everything that he has done… I love his honesty and how passionate he is about educating and how important personal and mindset development are especially if we are to step up to truly effectively branding ourselves. I have been a strong advocate of Mike and the BN community for years now… I am so proud of this latest product that I made a video about it:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0FUv-ca0kQ

Thanks for all you do for the community, Jason and CONGRATULATIONS for being the 3rd top affiliate for WWN, almost winning Mike’s Audi ;)

In Gratitude,

Emma

[Reply]

Jason Reply:

Hey there Emma!

Why thank you. :-)

Although the Audi would be nice, I’ve been told by some of the readers here that “cartoons” don’t drive cars.

Gosh, people are mean.

I thought the USB idea was awesome too.

Although it looks like that’s one of the perks that I don’t get as an affiliate.

And what’s this talk of a personal video from MD himself? Hmmm…

People are holding out on me and I’m going to get to the bottom of this.

Hey Pal

I have not finished going through the entire WWN. So far, so good!

The PPC webinar was awesome, took about 10 pages of
notes. Daegan Smith is a favorite of mine when it comes to training. He is so on target and explains it so ANYONE get start a campaign right away.
Not to ki$$ a$$ (excuse the French), your blog segment rocked the house. How do we get nominated for that?
As soon as I finished reading it, I put a couple of your nuggets into my blog.

As far as the price, RIGHT ON TARGET.

$10 too cheap?
YES – if this was going to be the ONLY issue. Mike could of easily charged $100-$500 and people
would have purchased it.

NO – because you want to get it out to as many people as possible. In return, a monthly subscription that ranges from 37-97 bucks a month.

SO…you get them in and how can you resist going for the platinum subscription that will benefit your business, right?

If it was more expensive, the people that are on the tight budget will still spend $10 and possibly just subscribe to the gold edition. After viewing the value, how could not:
- keep it for a year
OR
- buy another one with the Platinum edition like I did.

I am going to be a bit of the “fly in the ointment” on a few things, but all in all it was a very informative webinar. I did learn alot of things that I previously did not know and can use. One this “irked” me though, the off the cuff way of presenting and unfocused and sometimes rambling presentation detracted from what could have been a stellar webinar, I think in this instance a little preplanning and audio muting may have been in order. And, am I the only one who had something off to say about this? I cannot help but feel everyone is blowing sunshine…it detracts from the authenticity of the comments when everyone, no matter what raves about everything. On a one to 10…8 or 9 in usability, 5 or 6 in presentation.

Susanna Fera  on April 16th, 2010

Hello. The value was unreal. Daegan’s teaching style make is easy for anyone to follow along. Seeing inside a PPC account like that was tremendous. However, I don’t have dreamweaver. So I’m still unsure how someone new to PPC would set up a page/website to do this without Dreamweaver.

The gentleman above me mentioned there being some background noise, and I heard it as well from time to time. It sounded like a bottle was rolling on a tile floor. This quality of the recording could have been better.
I will be going through the course again. I devoured it like a good book at the beach!
Thanks for this course.
Susanna

Jason Reply:

Dreamweaver is okay…

But you can get away without it these days.

Even if you don’t have any HTML skills.

Look into Flextheme wordpress template.

Or just make your landing page with a free blog template. After you have an autoresponder account with icontact or awebber it’s basically just a matter of copy and paste. And there’s a lot of support for those autoresponders online.

I wouldn’t worry about the technical aspects.

It’s easy to find somebody to set these things up cheap. :-)

I think the first issue was great — the Daegan Smith video was definitely my favorite.

Funny story:
My wife and I were doing our taxes and we just couldn’t believe how LITTLE we’ve spent buying Magnetic Sponsoring courses.

P.S. Monique told me she saw someone questioning if you guys will REALLY reveal your secrets…

That’s laughable to me — I mean, the biggest secret is to go out and APPLY the training.
