The Mother Lode Of Lead Generation Tips…
Imagine waking up, stretching your arms, plopping your feet on the floor, and grabbing breakfast.
You pour yourself a cup of coffee. You slap your computer: it whirs, beeps, buzzes, and dingles. Finally, you check your e-mail and your jaw slaps the floor…
Your inbox is flooded with leads!
You can’t even see the bottom of it. It would literally take you hours to read everybody’s messages, nevermind responding to them.
Wow, wouldn’t you be blown away? Most people would be.
But it’s a reality for some leaders…
The upper 1% of our industry.
Honestly, you could be terrible at everything you do. As long as your leads keep rolling in: You’ll make buckets of clams, you’ll be rolling dough and you’ll be raking in the big green.
Seriously, you could literally mess up everything else…
You could be the world’s worst copywriter, you could be a total jerk, you could even be a convicted criminal, and some people would still do business with you as long as you have your magical endless bucket of leads.
I hate to even say that, because it’s obviously easier to get leads if you’re a decent person, but the sad truth is, in our industry, leads are big money…
And you already know, some people will sell their soul to the devil for a gigantic stack of Benjamins, C-notes, Greenbacks, or Smackeroos.
So what’s my point?
The point is, leads are the life of almost any business and they’re easily converted into Dead Presidents, Bones, or Macaroni.
Which means, leads are worth their weight in gold – literally.
Fact is, there’s no more valuable possession on earth than a hungry list of leads willing to buy what you’re selling. And today, while I was strolling around the Better Networker forums I stumbled onto the mother lode of lead generation tips…
Please “Retweet” this post for your friends.
To your success,

Hey Jason,
Thanks for sharing that post on BN. I won’t sell my soul to the devil for leads. But generating leads is a fun process.
Have a great day…

Hey Josh,
No problem. The thing I love about forums
is that it’s like a bunch of people got together,
spilled all their secrets… and basically wrote a book
more valuable than some products.
Whenever I’m running dry, I hit the forums for
ideas.

Jason,
Hey man, if you are just so overwhelmed with leads that you can’t handle them, I know someone you can pass some on to ( <- THIS = ME)! PPC is probably the only thing you can do to get a huge flood of leads as a stand alone. However, I have to combine several different areas to generate my leads. Heading to the forum right now.

Clever,
I’m a big fan of PPC.
But don’t forget…
-Paid advertising
-Facebook Ads
-Banner Ads
-E-zine Ads
And so on…
I think too many people overlook
other sources of traffic because of
the cost involved… but if somebody is
willing to test and measure their results….
Paid traffic is a great way to go.

Leads are king to be sure. That’s why I’m a certified ABN guy now. If you have half a brain you can disseminate the information on the betternetworker forums and find true gold (as you just did)for growing your business. Great post, never forget… no leads / no business it just is fact.

You should come up with a card deck of
those sayings Richard.
No leads, no business.
No pain, no gain.

Hey Jason,
Great Article!!!
Seems like I am saying that a lot on your posts
Having leads, to me, is one of the greatest assets anyone can have.
I’ve been on the internet 16 years and it took a long, long time for me to finally see the importance of having a huge lead list.
Funny thing is…
It took going thru Dillard’s material over and over before it sank in
Thank you for your contribution to the industry,
Jeff Faldalen

Hey Jeff,
Thank you… but my head is starting to get
inflated. You’re too nice.
I’ve gone through some books dozens of times. It’s
the only way to absorb everything.
Some of my books are highlited so much they look like
they got into a fight in a paint factory.

It sure is fun reading this “treasure map” called the “Jason Better Blog” while searching for “the mother lode.”

Thanks Derek,
I aim to entertain as long as it
hammers the point home.
Sometimes I take it to far… but that’s
usually when I find out… it hasn’t
gone far enough.

What is the difference between buying leasds
and developinging them on line . If a person is looking for a home base business does it really make a difference which way they find out about
a business .

Developing your own leads will most likely lead
to a more responsive list. Which means more, will
buy whatever you have for sale.
With that said, buying leads and paying for advertising
are two different things.
Bought leads, are a mixed bag. Most people I know who
have bought leads have been less than impressed.
Paid advertising on the other hand, gives you a chance
to develop your own leads fast. As long as you have
a solid plan/message to send them to. A way to monetize
those leads.

Jason,
What a great post. I’ve never hit the mother load of leads yet, but I get 3-10 every day. I’ve tried paid advertising, but haven’t got the best results yet.
I will try some of these other tips from the article, and some tips left in the other blog comments.
Content is king. But so is having lots of high quality, one-way links pointing back to your content. Most people forget that.
By the way, I found your blog post on the top 100 MLM blog list. I see why you are on the list. Great blog man!
