How To Crack The Twitter Egg And Get Free Web Traffic
Hey, wouldn’t it be great if you could get all the free web traffic you’d ever need and get it free? You’re probably thinking “Yeah right” but let me explain before you brush this off.
As you probably know, some networkers are driving THOUSANDS of FREE VISITORS to their websites every single month with Twitter while others grumble and sigh “social media doesn’t work.” But the truth is, social media sites like Twitter are an easy source of web traffic once you know…
How To “Crack” The Twitter Egg…
Well, today I’d like to crack the Twitter egg for you and help you drive more visitors to your sites every day than you ever thought possible. And the best part is that it’s only gonna take you a few minutes a day.
So here’s a few friendly Twitter tips to get you started:
NEVER SPAM – As you probably know, some of the big names get away with this but for the average networker this is a BIG MISTAKE. Twitter isn’t a free billboard, it’s a community built of REAL PEOPLE who hate spam.
Be Fascinating – You know, one thing most people don’t seem to get is that your followers will not be bored into recommending you to others. So you have to keep your tweets interesting! Strive for contrast. Watch what your competitors are doing and do the opposite.
Share – For instance, you can post links to fun sites and free resources as well as quotes, or even jokes and your followers will love it. After all, many of them are simply looking for someone (or something) to pay attention to. You can be that someone.
Retweet Awesome Links – One of the easiest ways to “tweet” and perhaps the most valuable is the “retweet”. This is when you take someone elses “tweet” and send it to your followers — giving credit where it’s due. You’ll build a lot of goodwill this way too.
Be Yourself – There’s no rulebook that says you have to be uptight about your business. Share a bit of yourself with your followers every once in a while and you might be surprised by the results. You should communicate as often as you can… as long as it’s interesting… and as long as it helps build relationships with your followers.
And that will get you started.
An Important Note: As long as you keep building relationships and keep following more prospects or potential customers on Twitter then you’ll continue to grow and drive traffic to your website in just minutes a day.
This isn’t an instant fix. It takes time but only a few minutes a day. The key is consistency.
Ohhh! And one more quick tip: If you wanna see a huge spike in your web traffic on any given day it’s really easy to do. Simply follow more people! It’s really that simple. You know, the first thing anybody does when they see you following them is wonder who you are. And if you look credible, they’ll be curious enough to visit your site soon enough.
You might be tempted to dismiss this as fluff but I’ve actually measured the traffic I get from just following new people (without even writing new tweets) and it really surprised me. All I can say is try it out. You have nothing to lose — right?
The Best Part: It’s FREE!
So there’s really no telling how far you can take this once you get started. It works for me, it works for my friends and it will work for you too if you give it a try.
So get started!

I am new to using twitter as a resource, and some basic tweeting is having some reasonable results, however I am keen not to be seen as spamming.
How is the best way to avoid this?

Hey Nigel. Thanks for stopping in.
Well, there’s more than one way
to crack the Twitter egg. A big
word to keep in mind is —
relationship.
Make friends. Don’t even try to sell
hard on Twitter. Be friendly. Share
great content. Retweet their links and
only share yours moderately.
You’ll be amazed at what you can
accomplish without spamming. And
of course the best way to promote
yourself is to get others to Tweet your
links for you. So build great content
and ask people to share it freely.
Hope that helps Nigel. And I hope to
see you back here soon.

Is it wise to retwitt if I don`t have a website yet?
IT seems like everything is already been said about every subject – how can I be creative/genuine/giving VALUE

Hey Ora,
Of course,
You can start building relationships
with other business owners before you
have your own website.

Hey Calm,
Don’t follow people you don’t enjoy talking with.
It’s easy enough to find interesting people who are
interested in what you have as long as you avoid
spamming them with links.
The best use of Twitter is announcements to your followers
and networking on a very intimate level with your
followers… almost like face-to-face.
True, you won’t be able to talk to everybody, but as
long as you’re bringing value into their lives they’ll
keep following you and listen when you do post a link.
