Proof That Search Engine Marketing Still Works| MLM SEO Tips

Honestly, I wouldn’t call myself an SEO expert. But, I do know enough about SEO Keywords and SEO Marketing to get ranked on Google fairly fast. And I’m always adding to my SEO skills.

But, let’s face it, there’s a lot of people “SEOing” for MLM Keywords these days. It’s highly competitive.

Sooo, is Search Engine Marketing going the way of the dodo?

“No!” Not even close. In my humble opinion, there’s still plenty of room for Networkers with SEO skills. If you have any doubt at all, I would like to show some of my recent results – yesterday’s results.

Exhibit A – Google search for my keywords “MLM SEO Tips” yesterday:

Obviously, my meta tags aren’t optimized but I’m still in the number one Search Engine Results Position (SERP) for the keywords – MLM SEO Tips.

There’s no magic or voodoo here…

I simply followed the SEO Training tips I gave you yesterday. If you missed those MLM SEO training tips then click here to read them.

But it’s seriously not that complicated.

More Quick MLM SEO Tips:

  • Put your keywords in your headline and title tags.
  • Consider bolding, italicizing, or underlining some keywords.
  • Give you picture a descriptive (keyword) title and alt-text
  • Have descriptive text with keywords near your pictures.
  • Put your keywords in your anchor text – sometimes
  • Think of your readers before you think of SEO.
  • Mix things up a bit or you’ll annoy Google.

Of course, most of it has to do with building your backlinks and picking
the right (profitable) keywords

Honestly, I don’t know if “MLM SEO tips” is really the best keyword for my purposes, because I really need to spend way more time building my keyword list.

Right now, I have other priorities.

But, building a keyword list is something I NEED to do, and you NEED to do if you want to dominate the SERPs in your particular niche or Network Marketing or MLM – over time.

The rest comes down to your site architecture, linking strategies, and nitty gritty details that you would have to be an SEO expert to understand.

I’m not even going to try to pretend that I understand everything – I don’t.

What I want to give you, is simply a few tips that will get you up-to-speed. MLM SEO training tips that are practical and useful right now.

Tomorrow we’ll talk a little about picking keywords.

I’ll share a strategy I haven’t heard any expert talk about. A strategy that doesn’t require a brain surgeon, rocket scientist, or wizard to understand.

In fact, it might just be the easiest way to pick profitable keywords.

If you would like more SEO tips in the weeks ahead, please tweet this post on Twitter today. It’s kinda like voting. Thank you. :-D

To your success,

Jason. As I said yesterday about market samurai. I learned it would take about 36 hours per keyword of manual research to make a sound decision if the key word would be profitable.
36 hours of good evaluation. I am loving this great tool.

Jason,

Great job on that top ranking. It really does go down to he right keyword and backlinks so thanks for the extra tips.

…and here’s an extra secret tip for those just getting thatno one talks about.. Google has something called “Web History” which gives you search results depending on what sites you visit more often..

I suggest everyone “Disables” this feature before checking to see if you have top rankings for your site – I always have it disabled because Google will then show me my site at the top.. All The Time – which is not really accurate..

Keep it coming J

No problem Jason,

…one last tip for the newbies here, don’t get discouraged if you don’t get top rakings even for a non-competitve keyword. Google gives preferences to “age-old” and very active sites (which are called ‘Authority’ sites)

…just another reason to blog everyday. By the way, thanks for featuring my forum post in yesterday issue Jason.

..ok I’m done :)

Any excuse to use the software. This might become a good side business. Hmmm. But really am pumped about it.

:) Hi Jason – Thank you for breaking down the SEO monster into little bite-sized pieces. I have been guilty of rolling my eyes whenever I heard the term SEO, with the frustration that I knew I’d have to dig into getting a good understanding of it to rank on Google. It’s definitely a learning curve there, but your bullet points really help make it simple to understand.

Thanks,
Kerie

Must be nice to be “Awesome”. Don’t tell people SEO is easy cause then we’ll have a lot more competition. Make sure they know you need a Degree from MIT and some rocket scientist experience to do it (Neither of which I have unless MIT is the mission impossible two movie). The thing that people have to understand is that while you got great results for your keyword yesterday, that wouldn’t have happened when your site was relatively new. You have built authority for your site (AKA PR) and your content gets more weight put on it by Oogle because of your authority. However, anyone can do it they follow any of the many tips and tricks you reveal on this blog.

Good stuff

Eric McMillan

Jason Reply:

Very true about the authority sites.

That’s why Better Networker is an awesome place to
post articles. They get ranked almost instantly. :-D

However there does seem to seem to be some correlation
between rocket science and SEO…

Prime examples: Raymond Fong and Ferny Ceballos.

In an SEO fight they would KO me in the first round. ;-)

As Josh Garcia did.. I also did the “mlm seo tips” search later in the evening yesterday and bam! There’s the cartoon! WOW – I was impressed to say the least.

Yes! I think we ALL need to build our keyword list of we’re looking for longevity in this business.

Thanks for the simple tips Jason — especially the bolding, italicizing, or underlining some keywords. That’s a new one to me.

Good stuff.

Talk soon cartoon,

The bolding, underlining, and so on.

Handy to know, but keep in mind that the headline and H1 tags
are definitely where the fruit is.

There’s even some debate over the effectiveness of bolding, underlining, and
italics in general.

Commercial valuable keywords is key to profitable traffic.
Example. KW Top 10 rain tires. You might get a lot of traffic for people looking for reviews. Where as free shipping rain tires might have less traffic but more traffic with people ready to buy. Check for miss spelled keywords as well.

You said it Jason…

Nothing worthwhile in life comes easy!

Not only did it take more than a day to build Rome…

Every day that passed during its construction was yet another day that the technology of the time advanced.

As an elementary student of SEO and all this IM stuff, it appears as if “The Google Machine” is an ever evolving, ever changing and ever allusive Monster, always advancing its technology…

Always staying just one step ahead of the mischievous marketers of this World.

Hmmm, kinda makes a guy wanna keep learning more just so he can figure out what the newest little trick may be that’s gonna Drive That Traffic like a Cowboy on a Western cattle drive.

I need to create an SEO keyword list, too!

I figure I’ll find some good ones in the PPC campaigns I’m running, though.

The thing that scares me about SEO is the time involved!

Oh well, I’ll do it like everything else — “one step at a time.”
