A lot of Network Marketers would agree that they hate Spam. When they go to promote their business they do a lot of spam like advertising.

For Exmaple:
1 Flyers on Car Windshields
2 They change every conversation into a Network Marketing Pitch

If you want to have success you need to actually help peoples lives in some form or another.

I’m actually finding a lot of people (mostly younger) that are not at all familiar with the terms MLM or network marketing. That’s refreshing to me.

It makes it even more important to make a good impression so as not to give them the wrong impression.

Sadly what I find with unskilled network marketers, and any sales person or marketer without experience, is the sense of desperation. I saw it often in a previous life (LOL) when I sold insurance. The unskilled don’t have the skills yet, and they think that badgering and over talking will bring about the desired outcome. Usually not the case.

Take time to learn the skills and be patient. Become a professional.

The greatest advice for me in sales and marketing is learning to ask good questions. Particularly open ended questions. You have to uncover a need before trying to fill it.

You know what a Pyramid scheme means?

The person at the top makes all the money, and the people at the bottom work their butt off and never see a piece of the pie. That’s your 9-5 job.

In MLM, there’s room at the top, and everybody starts at the bottom.

He he I also think that people have this pre-conceived prejudice against starting a business/network marketing business in general. They’ll say, “oh, that seems risky” or insert other excuse you’ve heard here. If anything, I think having a job, especially the state of things right now, is risky. The news has been grim and I think we need to re-built things from the ground up, for this will ensure the future and prosperity of our country.

That one would be too extreme.
