My MLM Buddy Shared This Easy SEO Secret With Me

MLM SEOHey, I picked up a cool SEO secret from a buddy a few weeks ago and I thought I would share it with you because it’s so gosh darned simple and practical too. In fact, it’s probably the easiest SEO trick I’ve ever discovered.

And you probably know, SEO is one of the best ways to generate loads of hungry web traffic to your site every day. So you’ll want to take note of this. It’s something quick and easy that you can do EVERY time you share a link anywhere.

Probably The Easiest SEO Secret Ever…

You see, it turns out that Google and other search engine algorithms (big word for computer programs) look at the text of incoming links. So what you write in your links is almost as important as what you’re actually linking to for SEO.

For example, you could write…

Click here to visit my site

Which is about as Google Unfriendly and lame as it gets

Or, if you’re interested in getting more leads, you could write something like example #2 with targeted keywords…

Example #2

If you want more great network marketing secrets you should check out The Jason Better Blog today.

Notice where I placed the links? This is important.

What does this do?

Well, it does a heck of a lot.

Because Google and most other search engines will now see the words “network marketing secrets” and “The Jason Better Blog” and associate them with the site I’m linking too. In this case – my blog.

So over time my SEO rank will go up and I’ll control more and more spots on the front page of Google for different terms… and YOU can do the same for your blog too.

It’s so easy, I can actually do it myself.

Hey, I know this is one short post, but need I say more? This is kinda like the fastest SEO secret I’ve ever learned. It produces big results, and it’s so easy even my friend’s grandma could use it…

I just had to share it with you too.

Totally,

I don’t think online business will survive the
information age without learning
a little SEO.

The net is getting more and more crowded
every day… and eventually… well… any one
person will be invisible without SEO and top
notch content.

This is good stuff…

You just keep it coming Jason. I feel like an old sponge, sopping-up everything around me, absorbing every last drop.

There’s so much more to this than meets the eye. I realize what you offer is invaluable information and can make the difference in my success.

Failure is not an option and I find myself ‘bonding’ with you for guidance and leadership.

Thank you,

Hey Mitchell,

I learn every bit as much from
you as you learn from me. :-)

I just aim to share the best of what
I know and discover… and man…

There’s always something new to
learn from someone else… family,
friends, even a stranger you bump
into at the mall.

Hey J,

This once cool trick. I’ve actually discovered it a few weeks ago, don’t remember where :)

Truly amazing what a little piece of information can do to your business!

Hey Adam I agree,

It’s funny how a little tip like
this… used every time you link
could possibly have a massive
impact over time.

Very cool. I’m always happy to
pick up a tip or two from anyone.

Jason Better,

Everyday…I get your content everyday. I think my CTR is hovering around 80% – that tells me one thing. That in the morning when I’m slurping coffee and eating bacon, I enjoy reading up on your content. Thanks.

Hey Eric,

Glad you stopped by. I enjoy
your content at BN too… assuming
it’s the same Eric Walker I’m thinking of.

Keep on being awesome. And thanks for
reading too.

Hey Jason,

Yup, same Eric Walker. The one, that is, who creates awesome content at BetterNetworker (hah).

Anyway, the blog looks nice here… simple, clean and easy to navigate. It’s a good study here for folks going through TF2 Nerve Center creation(Dillard & Erway) or SEO Networker Mastermind (Ceballos & Fong)… much to learn about simplicity, yet all the elements are here.

Hey Jas,

That’s a great tip and it’s very, very important. Little things like this build up over time, and it could pay huge dividends some time down the line.

I’ve been working on getting more relevant anchor text for a little while now and it’s starting to pay dividends.

(Off the topic – Thanks for featuring my article on BN last week. It was a hot topic and I upset a lot of people, so I removed it because BN was getting a lot of stick from disgruntled friends. Phew…)

Cheers,

Wayne

Hey Wayne,

You know what they say. You
aren’t a professional unless you
upset a few people.

So I guess… you could look at
that as a good thing. Hah…

You’re always pumping out
awesome content man. Way cool.

Sorry to hear that the grumps got
ya.

Thanks for the awesome tip! I’ve been doing a few things to improve my SEO, but I haven’t heard of this one yet. I’m updating a few posts now to fix the “click here” lame approach :)

Here are a few other SEO tips that I use:

1. Choose two or three good keywords and use them through your blog post. You should also include them in your TITLE and TAGS. You can use the free Google Keyword Tool to help you find highly searched keywords.

In part 2 of my Common Mistake People Make with Online Marketing Video series, I walk you through how to use the Google Keyword Tool (jump to middle of the video).

2. Videos help you with SEO. Create videos, upload them to multiple video sharing sites. Use the same keywords as you would in your blog in your video TITLE and TAGS. Also make sure you put a direct link to your blog post in the video DESCRIPTION (don’t forget to include the “http://” so your link becomes clickable, especially on YouTube)

3. If you are a Wordpress user, I highly recommend the following plugins:
a. “All in One SEO Pack” plugin.
b. Google XML Sitemaps
c. SEO Friendly Images

I hope I shared something new and useful.

Cheers,
Hani

Hey Hani,

Sweet tips. Love it.

Good plugins too. I think we
all have to pick up a little SEO if
we’re gonna survive the information
crunch.
